We focus on whole person care, which means we are here to support you in your emotional, physical, relational and spiritual wellness.

The Dawn Centre provides confirmation of pregnancy, sexually-transmitted infections screening & treatment, prenatal and parenting support services at no cost to you.

Dawn Centre offers free medical services pertaining to sexually transmitted infections. The following tests are available: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Herpes, Syphilis, HIV, viral hepatitis (HCV). Our team does not provide primary healthcare including ongoing prescription for contraception, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PreEP), or post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), abortion services, nor do we assist in arranging abortions. The Dawn Centre does not provide abortion pill reversal (APR) services or ongoing prenatal care. We do not provide general medical care or emergency services. As such, if you are experiencing symptoms such as acute pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, fever, abnormal bumps or lesions, we recommend you seek immediate medical assessment by NP/ doctor.

Client pregnancy tests are distributed and administered in accordance with all applicable laws.
Client information is held in strict and absolute confidence. Releases and permissions are obtained appropriately. Client information is only disclosed as required by law and when necessary to protect the client or others against imminent harm.
Clients receive accurate information about pregnancy, fetal development, lifestyle issues, and related concerns.
We do not offer, recommend, or refer for abortions or abortifacients, but are committed to offering accurate information about abortion procedures as requested.
All of our advertising and communication is truthful and honest and accurately describes the services we offer.
We provide a safe environment by screening all volunteers and staff interacting with clients.
We are governed by a board of directors and operate in accordance with our articles of incorporation, by-laws, and stated purposes and mission.
We comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements regarding employment, fundraising, financial management, taxation, and public disclosure, including the filing of all applicable government report in a timely manner.
All of our staff, board members, and volunteers receive appropriate training to uphold these standards. The support you receive is not a substitute for professional counselling.

The Dawn Centre's health care is offered in compliance with health regulations and best practice guidelines. We provide evidenced based information from Canadian sources such as the SOGC and Health Canada. Our registered nurses are supported by regulated health professionals across a variety of applicable health disciplines.
