The mission of Dawn Centre is to invite individuals facing unintended pregnancies and related sexual health concerns to health and hope. You can go to our programs page to read more about how we do this.

It is very exciting to be a part of a ministry that offers people who love Jesus the opportunity to show others how valuable each life is!

We are looking for people with various gifts and experiences to guide this organization in its excellence and vision.

If God has placed a passion in you for the varied issues surrounding an unintended pregnancy and for the mission of sharing God's love in our community, we would ask that you to contact our Executive Director, Diana Zondag at 519-620-0204/dzondag@dawncentre.ca.

 Some helpful facts:

  • we meet quarterly

  • meetings typically last 1 1/2 to 2 hrs

  • we hold an Annual General Meeting once a year

  • our Financials are audited yearly

  • we are looking for people with experience in financial, legal and/or medical fields

  • we welcome applications from anyone who has a heart for this ministry

Being on the board of the Dawn Centre is a privilege. The board provides oversight and direction that allows the staff and volunteers to compassionately serve those in need. To be part of the positive impact for those families who experience an unintended pregnancy by allowing the staff to provide unbiased options and support during a highly emotional and often difficult time has been rewarding. To see individuals and families supported after decisions are made knowing that they are shown God’s love and truly cared for warms my heart.-- Jim

"It has been a valuable experience to work alongside fellow Board members, as well as the Executive Director and other staff at the Centre, as we seek to carry out the Centre's mission and vision in our various roles and ways.  The time commitment and work involved with serving on the Board is very manageable.  Over the years, I have enjoyed attending the various gatherings and fundraising events with the staff and volunteers at the Centre - these are wonderful opportunities for getting to know each other better and to celebrate the work that is being accomplished!  It is a joy to be part of a team that genuinely cares about the needs in our community, that values unity, and that humbly seeks God's will and guidance for decision making and direction."     Stephanie

"It truly is a joy to work with such a dedicated group of Godly individuals who are reaching out and providing hope in our community.  It makes it all worthwhile when I hear the stories from our amazing staff and volunteers who support those facing unexpected pregnancies by walking alongside them in their journey. ...  I must say it is so rewarding working together with this team as we see God moving and using His servants to further His kingdom. It is indeed a privilege to be associated with this caring and loving group of people who are making a difference in the lives of many."   --Brad
